Every nearshoring provider is talking about AI. Here is what we actually point it at — requirements, test coverage and code review — and why that is a deliberate choice rather than a modest one.

BILKA's portfolio spans many products, variants, colors, and SKUs — combined with individually negotiated partner prices. We built the SAP-adjacent API and portal integration that makes this complexity digitally orderable without losing control of variants, conditions, or order logic.

With variant-rich products and customer-specific pricing, semi-manual ordering processes become complex, error-prone, and expensive. The task: make SAP product and pricing data reliably available in a partner portal, accept structured digital orders, and feed them back into downstream processes with full data consistency.

Ordering became more digital, more structured, and less error-prone. Partners get faster access to their relevant products and prices; internal processes run on a more consistent data foundation.

An API layer exposing product master data, variant logic, customer-specific prices, and order flows to a partner portal. The complexity of the portfolio was structured so the interface stays manageable for external users while the backend processes the full business depth correctly.

In B2B, the portal isn’t what decides success — the quality of the underlying product and pricing logic is. Digital ordering capability only exists once complexity is properly mastered.
