Unifying lead streams and building a single source of customer truth for Outside Clinic

About

Summary

Outside Clinic, a UK domiciliary healthcare provider, acquires leads through many channels at once — Facebook campaigns, Google Ads, its own website, and purchased lead lists. dotWhite built the Azure-based pipeline that unifies these streams so no lead falls through the cracks, and the services behind a single customer portal used as the source of truth across all branches.

The Task

Challenge

Multi-channel lead acquisition means duplicates, gaps, and inconsistent data — every lost or double-contacted lead costs money or trust. Behind it sat a harder problem: an on-premise database that was severely outdated, non-normalized, and difficult to work with, which had to keep running without disruption while multiple branches and systems synchronized against it.

Our Solution

Results

One deduplicated lead stream across all acquisition channels, and one authoritative customer record across all branches — achieved against a hostile legacy database, with zero operational disruption.

Our Solution
The Work

What we’ve built

A .NET Core lead-unification pipeline on Azure, using Azure Service Bus to guarantee every lead is captured exactly once, deduplicated, correctly qualified, and complete. Alongside it, Azure-deployed services powering a single customer portal across branches — preventing duplicate and missing records — with synchronization logic bridging the legacy on-premise database and the branch systems, integrated without interrupting live operations.

Takeaway

The glamorous part is the cloud pipeline. The part that decides success is respecting the ugly legacy database — synchronizing around it instead of pretending it isn’t there.
